Radnor House in Sevenoaks is one of the South East’s premier co-educational day schools with for pupils aged 2-18.  During the autumn half term break we were invited to present at short notice which led to our selection.   Our client, Catherine, said that she was impressed with our family values and felt sure that we would be realistic  about the service delivery and supportive of the team, most of whom had worked for the school for a very long time.  The existing team needed careful redirection and inspiration from other locations.

Ahead of the January 2018 mobilisation, we spent time with the team getting to know them, finding out their aspirations and understanding their current roles.  This investment in time  helped the TUPE process proceed smoothly and kept the team motivated and engaged.

A bespoke menu was agreed based on the school’s wish for nutritious and delicious food. This was complemented by new serving equipment which presented the food beautifully.   Our client had visited one of our locations, [please name], and wanted to replicate its look and feel.  A visit from both our front of house equipment supplier and the market team ensured the final look was professional and enticing.

We began the service on an inset day which was a great opportunity to see how the new equipment and flow worked.  We received hugely positive feedback! Once the pupils returned, we tweaked the service to create a dual flow to create a real wow factor.

The pupils and staff are delighted with  the service and the school has shown its appreciation on social media:

“We’re delighted to welcome our students and staff back after the Christmas Break. The sun is shining and Spring is definitely in the air!

There is much excitement in the Dining Hall today as we unveil our new look menu courtesy of Thomas Franks and our in-house catering team. With a focus on local and seasonal produce, there are numerous delicious and nutritious dishes available to tempt the taste buds.”
