Executive Chef Manager

40 hours per week + 1 week

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Executive Chef Manager to join Thomas Franks at one of our Prestigious School locations in Shenley, Radlett.

We are Thomas Franks, and we do things a little differently from other food service providers and our food is already freshly prepared and our menus are tailor made to suit each of our partners. As a Thomas Franks Executive Chef Manager, you will need to be an innovative Chef, and be proud to stand behind everything you create and serve. You will be running a well organised kitchen with one Chef and one full time General Assistant catering daily for 450 pupils and staff, providing an excellent lunch service for pre-prep and junior pupils. You will use fresh, quality ingredients in your menus and provide an outstanding customer service experience. The ideal candidate will have some hospitality experience to assist with sit down governor meals and open day canape events.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that catering premises and equipment are maintained, clean and hygienic and that safe systems of work are in place.
  • Managing, motivating and training the team.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
  • Ensure that financial margins are being met from planning and ordering through to stock holding, consumption and waste.
