Thomas Franks are looking for a Catering Supervisor to work in a Prestigious Independent School location in Wokingham.

Hour of work 10.30 am to 3.30 pm – 25 hours per week

This position will be supporting the Catering Team in planning, organising and providing high-quality catering services to the visitors and staff of this location in accordance with all food hygiene, health and safety and other legislation.

The basic duties are as follow: –

  • To supervise the Catering Team and direct on tasks
  • Support the Chef manager with training and development of the team
  • Carrying out general catering duties such as basic food prep, cleaning, setting up counters and service areas.
  • Interact with pupils, staff and visitors during the lunch time service
  • Setting up for hospitality events, match teas and parents events
  • Complete all relevant due diligence related to the role, ensuring the hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
  • A flexible ‘can-do’ approach and the ability to deliver consistent excellence with a genuine smile, is essential. We are looking for a Front of House Supervisor with excellent customer service skills, someone who has a pride in their work and a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
