Chef Manager – Term-time only

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a creative and effective Chef Manager to oversee the catering service at this Prestigious School in Essex.

The catering department caters for pupil lunches as well as hospitality events organised by the School, there is also a requirement to organise and run the weekly cookery club. As the Chef Manager, you will be fully responsible for the budget and cost control for this location.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys creative cooking, has an excellent understanding of nutrition and who can lead and develop this small catering team.

To be considered for the role you will need to:-

  • Currently working as a Chef Manager or Head Chef level
  • Ideally have worked within an education sector
  • Manage, train and develop a team
  • Build excellent Client relationships
  • Able to produce excellent, seasonal food with attention to detail
  • Friendly and willing with a positive, can do attitude
  • Have an excellent understanding of Food Safety, Health & Safety and Allergen controls
